SADC-DFRC is operated by SADC Development Finance Resource Centre. We are committed to protecting your personal information in accordance with applicable data-protection law.
We collect: name, email address, and account-related profile data (where applicable: date of birth, location, academic progress, quiz scores). For minor users, we also collect parental consent details where required.
Your information is used to: personalise your learning experience, track academic progress, send relevant notifications, and improve the Platform. We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
Where the Platform serves minor users, SADC-DFRC complies with the applicable child-protection provisions of the relevant data-protection law. Minors must obtain parental or guardian consent before registering where required.
Your data is stored on secure servers. We use industry-standard encryption (TLS/HTTPS) for all data in transit and at rest. Access to your data is restricted to authorised SADC-DFRC staff only.
We may use the following categories of third-party services: transactional email (e.g. Brevo), product analytics (e.g. PostHog), CDN and DDoS protection (e.g. Cloudflare), and AI providers (e.g. Anthropic). Each has its own privacy policy.
